Our Characters

The characters that you see in our logo aren't just cute - they all have names and personalities of their own - and unique stories of what brought them to be our mascots!

We will be introducing campers to these characters throughout the camp journey!

The characters’ stories and dispositions are relatable to many experiences that we may have gone through - of finding ourselves and giving ourselves the love and compassion we need - to flourish, to find. You can learn about our characters below and check out some stories of how former campers have related to them!

Stormi the Bear

Stormi has a lot of feelings and isn’t afraid to bare them all.

However, they weren’t always sweet like honey.

In fact - his feelings (the bees) used to sting him all the time because he didn’t know how to control them when

they started to buzz all around him.

He would fight his feelings and get stung.

He would run from his feelings, get stung.

He would even let his feelings fight each other.

That never turned out good as well.  Poor bees.

The one day it clicked.  Life is about compassion.

Compassion to self, others, and the world around us.

And lucky for him their were tools that he could obtain to go deeper in learning how to be more full.

Then before he knew it, his hive started to turn to a heart - then his feelings began to start guiding him along the way - creating an inner joy, and deep peace, each and every day.

Willow the Unicorn

Willow was courageous, every single day!

They spoke out against injustice, and oppression at bay.

They vowed to help humanity, everyday superhero.

But what people didn’t understand is behind their big smile -

they felt so so low.  A hard life, and a heavy blow - Willow wanted everyone to just be happy, and wanted to eliminate their woes.

Everyday they showed up for so much.

But they failed to look in the mirror, and eat their own lunch.

They wanted the world to glitter!!

And sometimes they took in too much hate on Twitter.

An everyday super hero they are -

one battle and healing a heart scar.

Mable the Deer Fox

When Mayble was growing up, she just didn’t understand:

"Am I a deer?  Or am I a fox?

She was too deer for the foxes and too foxy for the deer.

She was confused, she was lonely, she lacked a sense of belonging.  All she ever wanted was to belong...

But this Deer Fox loved to play, so much that she did it all day!

Then she realized this is what may be wrong.

Was she hiding her personality and self all along?

She began to be herself - loud, proud, and with no fear!

Then what entered her life? Well FRIENDSHIP and cheers!

For her friends loved her for her - a dear dear fox deer! :)
